Not a traditional grammar, but outstanding for its purpose Wray Mould The two Italian grammar texts I use the most are Soluzioni, Second Edition [Edit: now in a Third Edition] and Anna Proudfoot's Modern Italian Grammar: A Practical Guide. The first 107 pages of Proudfoot are a traditional arrangement of grammar topics, for which I usually use Soluzioni. But the remaining 278 pages are a wonderful trip through var. "Great for those who want to speak the language correctly." according to Nik. This is an excellent Italian grammar book for those who really want to know how to speak Italian correctly. The explanations are clear and the book is thorough. I am very happy with my purchase.
