DESCRIPTION:

Amazon Customer said Great information source!. This book will walk you through the process of choosing and, more importantly, using a jointer or planer SAFELY. A must-read if you plan to use either tool and are not sure on the proper technique to use.. "Error in Book" according to Phydeaux. I have almost all the Rick Peters tool books and have been mostly pretty happy with them.I've found an error in this one. It says if your jointer is making a concave cut you need to lower the outfeed table. Checking other sources and thinking through the problem, I've found that's backwards. The diagrams and advice in the book are wrong. If your jointer is making a concave cut, you need to raise the outfeed table, or as in the case of my jointer with a non-adjustable outfeed, lower the cutte. FABULOUS Book This is an excellent book and a Great reference to have in your wood shop.Novice and experienced wood workers will appreciate this book.
