"like all well-earned narrative surprises" according to Mr Deeppockets. The narrative was crisp. The book was compact, although it contained multiple main characters and story strands. Its dramatic reversals were pleasurable, too, because, like all well-earned narrative surprises, they seemed inevitable in retrospect. The Glymph's did a masterful job with their first offering and I will look forward to reading any new books they publish.. Nurse Jodi said Different than what I expected, but still excellent read. Great, great book. Had flashbacks of growing up in this time and in this community. Was surprised by how some things played out but that is what made the book even better.
