This book was very poorly written; it was full of misspelled words. It exhibited poor sentence structure and grammar. Friends who knew about this house back in the 50's would be interested in the book, but I will not recommend it to them because of how poorly the book was written. It needs to be edited.. "Don't bother!" according to Elinore C Batdorf. I wouldn't give it any stars if I had a choice. It was one of the worst books I have ever read. It needs to be edited for grammar, spelling, and chapter divisions. It just runs together. Sex was too much of a theme. I like historical fiction but this was pure crap. I felt like the real life characters were degraded. Don't bother!
