Loved the Characters and the time period Jenny I smiled all through the twist and turns of this book. The main character Angel Taylor is well developed likable and realistic. She strong and sassy. I really connected to her. I love that the book stayed in the time period in thoughts, lingo, descriptions and deeds. I also really enjoyed the mystery element to the book it balanced well with the romance element that was well done and not . "Christmas romance" according to chrisGA. This is a sweet romance set in Florida after the Civil War. Angel is a tomboy, raised in an all-male household after her mother's death, with little in the way of social graces. She wants no part of men or marriage. Elias is a boy running from a shameful event in his life. He doesn't feel worthy of anyone's affection. Their awkward first meeting, with Angel dressed in pants, a big smelly . Ken Kapur Ken Kapur A sweet romance set in Florida after the Civil War. This romance is accelerated by murder, a creepy stalker, and two orphans. I wish the book was longerChristmas Angel. I Recommend for anyone who enjoys a light Christmas story or historical romance.
