"Great research book, I found it boring" Pixel Revolution This is a great book to research on Benjamin Franklin. Unfortunetly I found this book rather repetative and boring. I mean sure it is a great book on how Beenjamin Franklin created his infamous creations and how he greatly impacted the history of America it's just that this book makes it seem rather boring. One of my suggestions to make this book better is by adding pictures of what the book is talking about at least once every 5 pages. That way the reader has a visual of what he is reading and the book won't apper to be as bori. Very informative. O'Neil This is a phenomenal book! Every American student is familiar with Benjamin Franklin because of his vast accomplishments in science, government, writings, and civic contributions. However, we never quite learn "who he was as a person". Alexander Kennedy 's well-researched biography provides a strong insight into his personality, lifestyle, strengths, and weaknesses. Moreover, he relates Franklin's changing attitudes throughout key periods in his life. After having read this book, I came away with a strong understanding of why Fr. Zander Keen said Well worth the time.. I devoured this biography! Any fan of American history should read this work since it gives new perspective on the lives of not only Benjamin Franklin, but other important historical figures from the late 18th century. The humor and humanity of Franklin is clearly presented yet his fallacies are not hidden. The author is not afraid to present Franklin's shortcomings along with his many gifts and lets the reader decide what to judge. This important biography is well worth adding to your bookshelf!
