Interesting and well done MamaK I got this book as both an ABC book and as an informational book for my Guatemalan-born kids. Overall, I find it interesting and well done.The thing that keeps me from giving it 5-stars is that it gives phonetic spellings for words like "Hola" and "tortilla" but . Amazon Customer said Five Stars. Great quality colors and pictures.. "introduce your children to Guatemala!" according to G. pickering. As a mother to 5 Guatemalan children we found this book a great way to introduce children to Guatemala. Simple format and illustrations provided a good starting point for further talks about our children's culture and history.
