Great translation but The translation:This is a great translation. Bywater (and Murray in the introduction) have made an effort to create a readable version of the poetics. One of the great problems with poetics is the translation of terms like mimesis and poetry which have no equivalent in modern languages. Bywater manages to find some by a powerful and synthetic contextualization.Murray complements this in the introduction - E.G.: he explain. "Easy to read, well-translated" according to timdibulator. The title says it all. This was well-translated and made it easy to follow Aristotle's lines of reasoning without distorting or skewing his original meanings. I appreciated this.. Jeff Thomas said Kindle is Perfect. Good book. Language is accessible, and it's a great quick reference for some otherwise complicated ideas -- I love kindle products for that reason.
