About the Author William Walter "Walt" Foskett, a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, attended several universities and graduated with a Bachelors in Criminology from the University of California at Berkeley, a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Juris Doctor, both from John F. Kennedy University. William worked for the Oakland Police Department for twenty years and retired as a Lieutenant of Police. He has also written eight screen plays, a TV script and short stories. William has written three books, A Series of Adjustments, Rattles, and Heaven on 9/11 and is working on the fourth. He subsequently worked for the Alameda County Public Defenders Office as an investigator. They enjoy short trips, exercising, good food and wine. He spent two years at Cal State University in San Francisco. He and his wife Jean have been involved in cattle ranching and land development
