Best Teaching Book I've Read! booklover This book without a doubt, is the best "professional development" teaching book I have ever read. (And I read a lot!) It is a no-nonsense guide to effective teaching. She bases her book on the "Optimal Learning Model" which is basically a method of teaching that emphasizes the release of responsibility in an effective way (I do it, We do it, We do it, We do it, You do it). I have sticky note tabs on practically every page and I have underlined and written notes all over the poor book. I know for a fact that this book will improve my teaching.
