I love this story I love this story. I almost hated to put "some twists" in my review. To me, twists are only fun when they surprise you. When you are looking for them, you sometimes figure them out before you get to them and that's not as fun. I love the surprise. I wont give details, but if you like surprises, you will like this book. I had to put the book down for awhile when I read it just to let it sink in. I have given this book as gifts to my daughter, stepdaughter and others.. "June Nolen author of In Reverse Time" according to June Nolen. This is a book that kept me guessing.Joy is a librarian. She found her husband in bed with her sister and they are now separated. Her sister is now pregnant and they are estranged. Makes sense so far.Then Joy decides on the spur of the moment to get away. Her plane crashes and she ends up at an Inn being renovated by Daniel O'Shea and his young son Bobby. The mother and wife is dead.Joy falls in love with Daniel and spends time with Bobby.It is definitely a Sixth Sense sort of experience.Joy was never really there. Did she ha. Loved this magical Christmas tale. I haven't read a Kristin Hannah book yet that I didn't love and I place this one at the top. I sailed through this unabridged audio, read so fabulously by Sandra Burke. This is not the usual kind of story I expected. If you've read other books by this author, you pretty much know how things will go but I was pleasantly surprised by the twist in this story. actually, I loved the way the story ended.
