This series really works! I am in love with the concept of this series (I See The Sun) because it really works. Following a child from sunrise to sunset performing routines that are both unique to the culture but familiar to the reader (such as eating breakfast, doing chores, going to school, etc.) really engages the reader and helps build an immediate relationship with the main character. As a homeschooling mom, this is the kind of series I look for to give my children a realistic view of the world because it creates an experience verses mere.
