Many of the stories in it are re-tellings of ones she's already written about online before. Though each story is written without naming the author, about half of them are by Johnson, which p. Seapet said Our Deep-Seated Prejudice Towards Children. This book was absolutely riveting. I couldn't put it down and only forced myself to do so because I could not risk staying up all night. I have great admiration for the courage and honesty of the women who shared their stories and who recognize that they, through their silence, did not abide by the women they were tasked to help. There are warnings in the book that the content is graphic, but what struck me more was that it was not graphic, but made my brain feel twisted in a knot of confusion. We have been told repeatedly that abortion serves and liberates women. These stories illustrate that aborti.
